GEEKOM Enters Laptop Market With GeekBook M16, Core Ultra 9 and 99.9Wh Battery

GEEKOM is entering the laptop market with the GeekBook M16, a 16-inch notebook powered by Intel’s Core Ultra 9 185H processor. The launch marks the company’s first laptop after years of focusing on mini PCs.

The GeekBook M16 combines Intel’s 16-core, 22-thread Core Ultra 9 185H with integrated Intel Arc graphics. GEEKOM says its Dynamic Tuning Technology allows the processor to operate at up to 55W. The launch configuration includes 16GB of LPDDR5 memory and a 512GB SSD, with additional storage expansion available through M.2 slots.

The notebook carries a 99.9Wh battery, the largest capacity generally permitted on commercial flights. GEEKOM claims up to 24 hours of Wi-Fi use or around 20 hours of local video playback. Charging is handled through a 100W USB-C adapter, with the company stating that a 10-minute charge can provide up to three hours of use.

A 16-inch display with a 1920 × 1200 resolution and 16:10 aspect ratio sits inside a CNC-machined aluminum chassis. The laptop measures 0.66 inches (16.7 mm) thick and weighs approximately 3.8 lbs (1.73 kg).
